Cubert Bell Sr is a Choctaw Indian, member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians in Philadelphia, MS. Cubert Bell has been in Tennessee since the early 50s. Cubert Bell is highly respected in the Native American community as a traditional dance leader and speaker of the Choctaw language. He has served on the Tennessee Commission of Indian Affairs. Currently Cubert Bell is employed by the University of Memphis at Chucalissa Museum as the on-site interpreter.

click for larger image	This blowgun is made in the traditional way using river cane, the indigenous bamboo of the Southeast, that is heated, straightened and hollowed out. A small dart is blown through the tube. This set includes a 24 inch blowgun with 1 blowgun dart (Made from cane and dowels Wrapped with cotton as dart). Additional blowgun darts are $2.00 each.
